Let not your heart be troubled…..

Elections in CA are always kind of scary and troublesome for a conservative. Last night, none of the top leadership elected were conservative. Most were of the most liberal persuasion. I don’t know what that means for a Christian conservative housewife whose husband works for the state but I do know that the Lord has told me to not worry, to trust and to press on. So today, I pray more for my state and its leaders both current and future and for those who walk in the light here that we may have a witness to our generation and the next two generations.  I also pray for our country and for current and future leaders. But mostly, my heart will remain secure in the knowledge “that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
